My name is Brittany. That's Brit-ta-ny. Not Britt'ny.

I don't really much care for my name. It's very common: Brittany Camille.
But you know what? I have come to find out that I am not as common as my name.
I'm seventeen years old, now. Getting my license, soon, you know?

I am not your average girl. I am me: Brittany Camille.
I'm multi-racial, and I love all of my ethnic backgrounds, but I wont get into that just yet. Because of my diverse background, I'm prone to trying all sorts of different things. But not seafood. I don't like sea food. There's no point in going through all the things I like. Most of them are already listed. I don't like lightning and thunder, I don't like sea food obviously, and I especially don't like bullies. No one wants someone who is always mean to them, always saying mean things to them, always making them do bad things? Just not nice. I'm the kind of gal who loves her music. I will listen to virtually anything. Blue Grass, Rap, Classic, Techno, Rock, Alternative. Even Soundtracks.

I'm a very artistic person, I will boast about that. I enjoy drawing, and I can draw fairly decently. However, I'm not the sort of gal who can draw things from her head. I am a girl who requires inspiration to get her stuff going. I can look at something, and draw it, and THEN add my own flare to it.

I am a musician. I play a silver bach trumpet. I am also very good at playing, and I am totally dedicated to my Marching Band. I am a Field Conductor, and I lead the band on the Foot Ball Field during Half Time shows. It's a tough job, but I have so much fun with it at the same time.

I am an author. I have written books, before. They're more like manuscripts, in a notebook I have. I enjoy writing, and I also enjoy reading. I love to read, more than anything. There are countless, countless classic to modern books I've read that I simply adore. I love reading about science and history, about politics and medicine, fantasy, action adventure, romance, comedy, plays, newspapers, signs. I love to read, period.

I am a chef. I can cook, I come from several generations of chefs, and the skill has been passed down. Ever need me to whip something up in the kitchen? I'll be more than glad to. I especially love baking in the Fall and Winter. It's a great hobby to get into.

I am an athelete. I enjoy sports, a lot. Keeps me active. Anything from jogging, to running cross country is great exercise. I play hockey on the rare occasions I can find my stick and puck, I play soccer ( My personal favorite ), I swim, I play soft ball, I dribble a little basketball here and there, I jump rope, aerobics, and even put on my music, and just dance ( And if I'm really in the mood, I play DDR! ). So as you can see, I am very active, physically.

I am a singer. I love to sing. I do not care where I am, who I am with, what the song is--if I know it, then I'm going to belt out the lyrics to it. Tiffany is the one who told me I had a talent for singing, and I've sung my fair share in choirs. Now I enjoy singing a good song while rocking out to my PMP.

I am a thinker. I like challenges. I LOVE challenges. I am an active member of the debate team, and I am always up for a good argument. I like to solve things, which is why I watch shows like CSI, and House. To get to the bottom of a mystery? If it makes my clock tick, then I must enjoy it. I also like to voice my thoughts and opinions. I am good at giving advice to people, and I am fairly decent when it comes to criticism. To each his or her own, I say.

I am a dreamer. I am a senior, this year, and my goal is to succeed, in life. I am going through eight years of college to get my PhD, and become a Forensic Anthropologist. I have also decided to live my dream, and to study Archaeology and Paleontology on the side. I've been fascinated with Ancient History, all the way to Pre History, since I was three years old. But for now, I want to experience what it is like to be an enforcer of the law. I enjoy protecting people, and in this sense, I uphold that part of me. I very much enjoy children, and one day I hope to settle down with a man I can call my loving husband, have children, and devote my everything to raising a good family.

So there you go. You have me. Me, as I am. Me as I will ever be. Different. I am the only Brittany Camille out there with such talents and dreams. I'm nothing pretty. I've always called myself average-looking. But there's a lot more to me other than my looks.

Once you get to know me, I can be your best friend, or your worst enemy. The move is yours, really.
